The series directed by Davoud Mirbaqeri, will start shooting again soon.

Some of the scenes of ‘Salman the Persian’ were supposed to be captured in Turkey and Armenia but due to coronavirus outbreak the shooting were brought to Iran.

The 40-part biopic covers the life of one of Prophet Mohammad’s [PBUH] closest companions, Salman the Persian, from adolescence until the prophet’s death and Salman’s return to his home city of Mada’in.

The crew spent late January to early February for filming the season covering the Byzantine period. This part of the series includes foreign actors alongside Iranian actors.

The foreign actors of the movie have all returned to their countries after the end of the shooting.

Alireza Shojanouri, Farhad Aslani, Ali Dehkordi, and Mohammad-Reza Hedayati are on the cast list with more than 1500 Iranian and international actors.
